I have to admit… I love all things journals and stationary. And with the Thanksgiving season upon us, I am lately finding myself thinking of all the things I am grateful for. I truly believe that having feelings and thoughts of gratitude makes a huge difference in how you view life, and the level of abundance you experience. After all, attitude is everything! I love to write my feelings down, so I try to always have a journal or diary nearby to catch my thoughts on paper before they disappear. As time passes, it is so much fun to look back on what was happening in my life years ago, and how I viewed my circumstances. Mostly, I love looking back to see what the Lord has done in my life, and how He has changed my heart to see things the way He wants me to see them. If you take the time to look, you will see that the He is working in every moment of your life, and writing about it is a great way to help you remember what He has shown you.

Whether you are new to journaling, or have been doing this for a long time, you will find that there are a gazillion journals out there. They come in all different sizes and styles, with different kinds of papers, covers, colors, and the list goes on. Picking one can be overwhelming, so I am sharing with you some of my favorite journals and why I love them.

Best Journals for Gratitude, Prayer, and Reflection

This Valery Faux Leather Journal is a beautiful retro/vintage style journal. It comes in brown, blue, yellow, and forest green colors, but brown is my favorite. It just looks so classic, and the medium size fits perfectly in my hand bag.

My Prayer Journal: A 3 Month Guide To Prayer, Praise and Thanks is a great journal for you if you need guided prompts. Each day’s page has a section for prayer requests, a Bible verse, thankfulness, and a place to write your prayer. Not knowing what to say in a journal can be a challenge, so this one takes out all the guess work! It is an 8×10 sized book, so a little bigger than I like, but it may be the perfect size for you.

If you like a rustic look, this Genuine Leather Tree of Life Writing Notebook is perfect for you. I absolute love the tree of life embossed on the front, and the size is great for taking with you every day. The 120 pages in this notebook are leather bound and made from cotton, so it is environmentally friendly, while also offering you good quality paper that can be written on with any pen without any bleed-through.

I really like this All Things Are Possible Journal! It is pink and is made of a manmade leather-like material that you will love. I mostly love the scripture on the front that says “With God all things are possible,” quoted from Matthew 19:26. The beautiful flower on the front gives the journal a beautiful feminine touch. It is a great size for fitting in your purse so you can take it with you wherever you go.

If you like to color, you will love the Women’s Bible Study Coloring Journal. Each day in this journal offers a beautiful art page for you to color, a prayer, thought-provoking questions for reflection as well as a key scripture and a short thought for life application. I love this journal for guiding thoughts and scripture meditation. So if you don’t know what to write about, you may want to consider this journal.
